Dhanteras Puja & Path
Dhanteras Puja is performed on the first day of the Diwali festival to seek the blessings of Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Kubera, and Lord Dhanvantari. This sacred ritual is believed to attract wealth, prosperity, good health, and success while removing financial obstacles and negative energies from life.
Dhanteras, also known as Dhantrayodashi, marks the beginning of the five-day Diwali festival. On this auspicious day, devotees worship Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth, Lord Kubera, the treasurer of the gods, and Lord Dhanvantari, the divine physician who emerged during the Samudra Manthan carrying the pot of Amrit (nectar of immortality).
