Shrimad Bhagwat Mool Path
Shrimad Bhagwat Mool Path is the sacred recitation of the original verses of the Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapurana, one of the most revered scriptures in Hinduism dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna. This divine path is performed to attain spiritual wisdom, inner peace, prosperity, family harmony, and liberation from sins through devotion and the hearing of the Lord's divine pastimes.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mool Path is a highly auspicious Vedic recitation of the original Sanskrit text of the Shrimad Bhagavat Mahapurana, which consists of twelve cantos (Skandhas) and eighteen thousand sacred verses. It glorifies the divine incarnations of Lord Vishnu, especially the life and teachings of Lord Krishna, while emphasizing the path of Bhakti (devotion), Dharma (righteousness), and Moksha (liberation).
During this sacred ritual, learned Vedic priests or scholars recite the original Bhagwat verses with proper pronunciation and devotion. The recitation is often accompanied by Vishnu Sahasranama, devotional bhajans, and prayers seeking divine grace.
Shrimad Bhagwat Mool Path is commonly performed for spiritual upliftment, family peace, remembrance of ancestors, special religious occasions, housewarming ceremonies, birthdays, anniversaries, and thanksgiving. Listening to or sponsoring the recitation is believed to purify the mind, remove negative karma, strengthen devotion, and attract the blessings of Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna.
