He is credited with constructing the grand, celestial cities of the gods, including Lord Krishna's Dwarka, the golden Lanka of Ravana, Indra's Indrapuri, and the legendary Hastinapur and Indraprastha for the Pandavas. He also forged the iconic divine weapons, such as Lord Indra’s lightning bolt (Vajra).
While most Hindu festivals follow the lunar calendar, Vishwakarma Puja is unique because it is calculated using the solar calendar.
